But if you picket, the elderly and disabled are negatively impacted!

But I do get your point. I don’t have the answer. Me and everybody else who wants to be regarded and actively treated with at least a level of respect and humanity, as those of us who do not have the privilege of staying home and quarantining. The lives of these workers, as well as, the elderly and disabled and poor brown people and the Indigenous and Black people—irrespective of their socioeconomic status—are valued less than the rest, if at all; and our positions are deemed replaceable—as the soulless status quo seeks to use us up and replace. Use us up and replace. And far too often, for decade after decade, they accomplish just that. We must fight. We have to stand our ground and we must band together. Every one of us who is not the status quo—irrespective of our race, religion, age, immigration status, body size/ability, health, intellectual ability, education, or socioeconomic status. Divided, we die a most tragic and painful death—either by Covid_19 or white supremacy. Neither is appetizing, yet both will slaughter us all, mercilessly.
