The Lake

The trees stood high
And all the people seemed happy
Smiling so bright...
The green of the earth surrounded us all
The water of the lake swayed softly beyond our eyes
I was happy too...
As an abundance of beauty enveloped my heart
The beauty of children
And kind folks
And nature.
The Lake brought us together
And I wish to return
One day.
