Tear the Whole System Down

Rayshard is right, paroles should have a mentor instead of a parole officer. That would change so many Black lives. But the thing is, the white supremacist government and status quo (these same evil and hateful people founded this country and existed long before dt; just so we are clear) understand that changes such as what Mr. Brooks speaks about will change Black people’s lives (for every parolee’s lives!) and they do not want that kind of change—systemic change; which is what we are fighting for. It is why we are all taught a lot of lies in history class and the truth is suppressed and/or ignored by most. It is ESSENTIAL that we DISMANTLE THE ENTIRE JUSTICE SYSTEM because IT IS A LIE and rebuild it from the ground up. My heart hurts for so many Black Men, Womxn, and Children who have been so violently murdered, leaving families without family members who should be here today.
