Like A Flash Of Light

Like a flash of light,  it goes so fast;  so very fast... I've seen light bugs in a country field in the musty heat of July and lost myself so many times through a passenger side window. I've swam in oceans and stood atop  cliffs on a tropical island. I've danced with myself in a public street to a song only I could hear. I've smelled the sweet rain and cradled a child. I've been very young and I've been older than I've ever been. I've been wise and foolish and indifferent too. I've loved and I've lost and I've stood on stages that beheld a weeping audience. I've gazed and wondered at the stars for more than half my life... It goes so very fast... Let me enjoy it now.
