...and your Black Life Matters
I pounded my fist. I lowered my head and placed my hand on my heart. I wept. But not once did I laugh while watching Ava DuVernay's "13th," a documentary about America's school to prison pipeline system; the changing face of America's racism and greed: slavery, Jim Crow, Prison. I've watched this 2016 film, playing on Netflix, three times. Watching the criminalization of black bodies laid out before me, gave me this feeling that time is of the essence. Do you feel it?
