In This Country

But we have to go beyond that. THIS COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON RACISM, RAPE, HATE, SLAUGHTER...and if families go about their lives and do not have discussions about the race issue in this country,  in this world,  and only surround themselves with people of their own race, living in a bubble devoid of diversity, their children will grow up to be one the millions that divert their eyes or gets a rapidly beating heart when they see a black person walking in their direction on the same sidewalk IN BEVERLY HILLS or WOODLAND HILLS, or CHEVIOT HILLS at 1pm in the afternoon. Yes, racism is taught,  but IN THIS COUNTRY...if it's not discussed in your homes, with your children, while living in your non-diversity world, you're teaching entitlement and indifference. And they won't even know that that's who they are. #BlackLivesMatter #SayTheirNames
