To Her Love

She was warm soothing wind
An Oahu breeze
Soft and fierce at once
And lovingly fragrant-
A flower.
Tore my heart and put it back together and opened it up all over again
All at once
She tried...
But I was so broken
I tried
To be still for her
And light
Frustrating that part of her soul that couldn't win me over
To her love.
